Villa at the lake
In this private new building project on a Bavarian lake, the proximity to the water becomes the supporting idea. Mauritz Design creates a cube over three floors and creates bright living spaces behind continuous glass fronts.
In the sleeping areas and spa, the windows constantly frame new images composed by nature. In the garden, a path winds its way over the open staircase, terrace and seating area to the private jetty. Because the view of the lake seems almost endless, a tree is placed as an anchor for the eye. With a helicopter, by flying over the water.
